Hydrate the Homeless is a youth founded Non-Profit Organization that was founded on June 29, 2023 by Mylah Smith (21) and Chelsea Martinez (21) to ensure homeless and sheltered men and women across Central Arkansas were supported and taken care of. We realized it is more easier to receive gifts, money and other things more than it is to pay it forward and donate which is why we founded Hydrate the Homeless. We understand that there are people out there that need things more than we do and want to provide them with the things we have access to on a daily basis. Basic human survival necessities and support. As unfortunate as it is, we cannot house these men and women so we decided to do what we can to accommodate their current living position by providing them with survival necessities such as food, drinks, and hygienic products.

We established the idea of assembling food bags weekly with food and hygienic products and passing them out to the men and women across Central Arkansas areas such as Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Maumelle. Although we are currently only serving the Central Arkansas areas, we intend to grow and expand serving the entire state of Arkansas, states across the United States, and maybe even serving internationally. We also anticipate offering more programs and donation drives such as Winter Drives, Toy Drives, Christmas Drives, Back to School Drives, Infant Necessity Drives, and more!

Hydrate the Homeless was created to show less fortunate citizens of Central Arkansas that no matter their current or past situation, someone loves them and wants to make sure that they are looked after and taken care of.
