Twenty-four People Served!

Twenty-four Arkansans were fed and taken care of on June 22, 2024. Six months after the 2023 Winter Drive, and one week away from the one year anniversary of being founded, Hydrate the Homeless served the community by donating food and hygiene bags to homeless men and women around Little Rock, Arkansas. This included areas like Chenal, Bowman, Asher, University, Downtown, and Markham. Thanks to Mylah Smith and Lauren Hampton, over five-hundred dollars was spent to ensure that these bags were filled with hygienic necessities and goodies.

From items like tooth brush and toothpaste kit, shampoo and conditioner to lotion, sunscreen to ChapStick, female and men underwear to sanitary napkins for women, these bags were full of thoughtful items to keep the ladies and gentlemen clean, and on top of their hygiene. This bag was full of just about anything you could think of to keep yourself feeling and looking good. Thank you to volunteers Kennedy S, Brenda O, Jarod S, and Lauren H. Without them, this wouldn't have been as easy and possible!

Recipient shared with us that his mother gave him this coin with an angel on it. He stated that he carries it around with him everyday and on this day, to him, we were angels.
